What You Need As A New PA Resident

- Multiple documents are required for both your license and vehicle registrations as proof of ownership, and residency will need to be established.

- Proof of your new residency is also required via state accepted documentation.
- You will need to submit form DL-180R for your driver’s license change from out of state. New drivers have a slightly different form.
- Returning PA residents will need to provide all the same information and forms as new residents.
- Learner’s permits are not transferable from out-of-state.
- There are separate title registration forms for owned versus leased vehicles.
